Who
are we?
Our Mission
The goal of
the Ayshel Avraham Rabbinical Seminary,
its very reason for being, is to develop a new kind of Rabbinic leader,
one who is truly able to identify with contemporary Jews and lead them
to new levels of Torah observance and spiritual consciousness.
It takes a very
special kind of person, a person with a long standing commitment to
Torah observance; a person who has excelled in the secular, scholastic
and work environments; a person who wants to devote his intellect,
emotions and efforts to something infinitely more meaningful and
satisfying.
These are the
kind of men you will find at Kollel
Ayshel Avraham. Our students come from
the world over and they represent the widest cross-section of
contemporary Orthodoxy from the kipah
srugah of Modern Orthodoxy to the
shtreimel
of the Chassidic.
...and a word from the Rosh
Kollel
To
be a Torah observant Jew in the 21st century requires confronting unprecedented
challenges. We live in a global society, where every day we are exposed
to lifestyles often devoid of Torah, even hostile to its teachings.
Kollel Ayshel Avraham
has dedicated itself to producing the kind of Jewish leaders who
having learned to value the beauty of each Jewish soul, go out to meet
the challenges of bringing the light of Torah and it's values to serve
in communities around the world. Graduates trained by Ayshel
faculty become not only Orthodox Rabbis, but are imbued with the values
and ways of a Mekarev, a Mechanech, and a Mashpia.
Each Musmach leaves the Kollel
with a sense of commitment, entrusted with spreading Torah and
its Midos far and wide. If you are considering a future in Jewish
Leadership, the information presented here will provide you with some
of the specifics about the academic and spiritual curriculum at the
Ayshel Avraham Rabbinical Seminary.
